The good thing about getting older is that I have already stocked up on certain propellants and primers but forgotten about it. After ordering more "such and such", I discover I already have 8 canisters of it. Good Lord. The good news is that I am ahead of the game for the next freak out in two years when supplies will fly off dealer shelves and become impossible to get at standard pricing.

With rifle in hand, I confidently go forth into the darkness.

Are there any good places to buy reloading supplies in your area ? We have 3 that are within 25 miles. The one I usually go the owner is in very poor health so that one it is up in the air. My Wife has family in Charlotte, NC so I sometimes stop at Hyatt Guns. They are crazy on gun prices but reloading is about like anyone else. Supposed to be the biggest gun shop in the U.S.  I usually raid the bargain bin, really surprising what you can find. One of the best is Blue Collar Reloading in Salisbury,NC, it's about 50 miles east of me. Sometime we get a couple or three together and make a run.

The last several shortages made me rethink things, I try to keep a few of my favorite things on hand. At 73 a lifetime supply is not what it used to be.

At 71 I’m thinking about laying in a lifetime supply so I will be ready for the next freak out. I’m in good shape for lead and brass, need to work on powder and primers.
