Have any of you ever had to deal with multiple frangible bullets stuck in a revolver bore. The one at the muzzle is very resistant to drilling.

Not frangible, but M41 Ball. Pull barrel from revolver frame. Soak in 50-50 ATF and K1 overnight. Hold barrel in barrel vise and drive bullets put with Brownell Squibb rod and lead, dead-blow hammer. Inspect and re-install/ replace damaged ( likely bulged) barrel.

I like Ed's solution. I have used (in rifles) a 24" long drill bit (with a brass tube around it close to the business end to keep it centered.
