Kokum Butter

Has anyone used kokum butter in their homemade bullet lube?

 I had never heard of it either.  Soft and expensive product.

It is believed that Dan Theodore's "White Lightning" bullet lube used it but the author of a lengthy post could not confirm the use. He reports he is about 80% sure it was a ingredient in the lube.

Running a 2:1 ratio of Bees Wax to Kokum butter on the .575 Minie' ball in the Enfield and Springfield bullets. Working good for now in the cooler weather. Will need to see how it holds up in the summer heat in NC. I put some clove oil in there to keep the butter from turning. Sure smells good.
