“Antique” Primers

Because I just bought an old, John Barlow designed/Lyman bullet mold, (Thank You, Richard) . . . .I thought I’d load up some ‘06 using these old Winchester primers.

These require a concave primer punch, ‘cause the primer face is convex!

Hmmmmmmm. Well you can try using your regular primer punch. The worst that can happen is . . . "Bang".

If someone else had of done to me what I did to myself . . . I'd have killed him. Humility is an asset. Heh - heh.

I load them all the time with my old Lee screw-in style primer tool. Never been an issue for me with gentle seating. FWIW

No problem loading these with standard priming tools.  I only have a few thousand left so that issue will go away, if it is an issue.
