I picked up a Pedersoli Kentucky Pistol today. It was unfired . It was cheap so why not? I can’t really live with the trigger the way it is and want to tear down the lock to do what we do. I can’t figure out how to get the mainspring out. Any suggestions?

Remove the lock and take a picture of the back side. There are several lock designs, each with its own disassembly. A picture is worth a thousand words.
