I use White Label Lube  http://www.lsstuff.com/index.html>http://www.lsstuff.com/index.html  They have a wide range of lubes. The NRA 50/50 is had to beat for up to 2000fps. Take a look ,nice people to work with. Glen also sent lube for door prizes at the military nationals last year.  Scott

I am going to be working with the White Label high speed stuff for a 22/250 this season. It has a good reputation. Ric

Ditto Mr Merchants post.

No criticism of the others and I've never used Voodo lube, but I do know that Glenn Larsens White Label products 2500, BAC and Carnauba Red (needs heat) will all serve your needs well at a really good price that doesn't hurt.

No connection just a very satisfied customer. :D

Hi everybody, and thanks for the kind words.

I've pushed the Carnauba Red to 2700 fps with 190gn Fat 30 in my 30-06 with no leading or fouling at all.  It also works excellent in magnum handgun rounds.  Several shooters have reported that it fixed their leading in problem revolvers.  C-red does need a heater, but only up to 100 F.  It's also 100% non-toxic and a very lo to no smoke lube.  We supply several cast bullet companies with Carnauba Red.

Lower velocity rounds can do better with a softer lube.  We have a 50-50 style lube that is slightly stiffer than Javalina brand 50-50.  Our 2500+ is stiffer than 50-50 but still doesn't need a heater.  Scott Merchant and Wally Enga have used 2500+ in Military rifle matches while setting many new national records.  From looking at the score sheets, I see that Wally has used our BAC lube and placed very well.  BAC is a mix of our 50-50 and Carnauba Red lubes.  It's also a very lo to no smoke lube and does very well in semi-auto handgun rounds.

We do offer a $.10 per stick discount to CBA members, just mention the discount if you place an order.  We do send out free samples for all of our lubes except the Liquid Xlox.  We used to cover the postage on samples, but the postal service changed the rules on first class for items over 3/4” thick.  So we ask that you cover the postage of $1.30 for samples.

I read this on another forum. I haven't tried it yet, so I am going by his word. He uses straight lithium grease. I will be trying it if I ever load anything that fast.

Got my lube program dialed in. I have two lubrisizers, a Lyman 450 and an old 45 that still works fine. Loading one with White Label BAC, the other with Carnuba Red. Then all I have to do is move the dies and be able to change to high speed or more GP lube. For everything else I have 45LLA/45Johnson's Paste Wax/10mineral spirits for tumble lubing. I shoot a lot of as cast with the tumble lube. I see that White Label sells XLOX at a very good price, I'll get 32 oz. of that to put in my TL mix. Have I got it covered or what?

LBT blue or blue soft. Just like Veral's book title: “cast bullets at “J” word velocities.” Not that you can't push 2000fps with other good lubes, because if your fit and hardness are correct, you can. Ol' blue will usually give better accuracy and higher velocity. I thought this was advertizing hype until I tried it side by side with idenitcal loads changing only the lube.

Last year I tested LBT against Lars, Voodoo, and Grays at high velocity and while they where all good LBT was the winner for speed along with accuracy. This was in a 30x47 going 2650 fps with a 160 gr HTed bullet. If anything I think sometimes LBT is too good and I have to thin it down with a little trans fluid but that's no big deal.

Dangit guys! Now I won't be happy 'til I try the LBT. I do want high speed options. Anybody know Veral's formula? Just curious. Pat, how was the accuracy with that 30x47 load? I really need to get Veral's book, I think it would save me a lot of hunt and peck.

If it really gets down to it, develop your own recipe, I did. Works great, I had a long thread about what all I tried and the direction that I went.

Tim, The accuracy at 2650 wasn't bad but I settled on a little lower velocity for shooting. I did go quite a bit higher velocity wise when I was first put the gun tiogether and never got any leading when using LBT lube. There's a couple of topics about the cartiridge and my trials and tribulations on here somewhere, ongoing by the way.

If anyone has the knowledge I would really be interested in knowing witch brands (commercial) of those discussed has “Molly” as one of the ingredients?  Interest is in the hollow stick form, non commercial.

That would be Lyman Super Moly (molybdenum) from Lyman Gunsight Company.   http://www.lymanproducts.com/lyman/home/>http://www.lymanproducts.com/lyman/home/

One distributor that is likely to have that is :  http://www.midwayusa.com/>http://www.midwayusa.com/  Or you can call them and have it shipped, 1-800-243-3220  in Columbia Missouri.
