Using the Lee Bn tester//

I found it challenging to use the Lee pocket microscope. The optics were decent but the hard part was getting everything lined up and making everything sit still.
Someone posted on another thread showing a homemade stand to hold the Lee scope. That sounds like a really good idea.
Personally I prefer to photograph the indentation and then use digital software to measure it. Some computer skills are required but it's much more accurate.

locate the test indentation under the center of the scope and touching the bottom of the scope also concentrate on Centering in your eye above the ocular. Wearing eyeglasses will be a hindrance and cause Parallax problems. If you practice you can divide the distance between two delineations on the scale into tenths with your mind.
I also look at indentations with a 6X magnifier visor and measure indents with a caliper,. that works too..
