JP, what do you use to melt them?? I render a lot of WW's using my outside wood furnace, I have a shelf just inside the door and a big cast iron pot. It only takes a few minutes to melt the pot and like you I pour into muffin tins after skimming. Frank C.

I use my propane lobster cooker and a 10” iron pot with modern WWs you need to skim off about 60% since they are zinc// Still better than buying bullet mtl. //// I stamp each pig with WW and the straight lead with L and the 2or3 little round test ones with the date--- Perry

I'am very Leary of newer wheel weights in fact I've quit collecting them as I have a large supply of WW alloy that will probably last me to St Peter. Frank C.
