New E-mail flier from Midsouth shows lots of powder in stock.   They even have a supply of Blue Dot and RL 7   I'm down to just needing some more Unique and will be set for quite some time.  Feels good.   Gp

Gosh! How I relish the sensation of having a little bit more of everything - than I am likely to use (or forbidden to use). In my instance, I credit the “surplus Powder” establishment, mostly. Not much offerred today - but 6 - 8 years ago there was a remarkable selection. I tested everything with any promis, nailed down the ones that worked like I expect, and ordered more of the same Lot No. (Most vendors ate the UPS “Haz-Mat” charge for an order of a 4 - jug case. My supply of SR4759, alone, can keep me shooting my CB's - in every rifle cartridge.(Not to start an argument - but within a month of casting my first bullet I had already discovered that altho not always the “best” It was certainly a consistent and reliable “close second” in any 30 cal.) With the help of a CB friend - I got plenty of it @ $10 / lb. I guess the fact that SR4759 has (again) been dis-continued means that not many CB shooters agree? Oh Well -------

Like you, I stashed a fair supply of 4759!  But I wish that I had a bit more 4756.  That is another that I discovered that I had a lot of rifles that liked it. Bob 11B50

Got plenty of Unique but I would like to get more Titegroup. Heading for my supplier this weekend as I know that he has plenty. May even pick up a couple of pounds of Bullseye. Down to the last thousand large pistol primers. Gonna be an expensive weekend coming up!!

If someone else had of done to me what I did to myself . . . I'd have killed him. Humility is an asset. Heh - heh.

Hey, all,   Powders and components here in Central Florida are getting easier to track down, mostly at Gun Shows, but Holy Smokes, bring lots of money with you!   I paid only $17. for a pound of Bullseye at our summer home in Pennsylvania, two years ago, and they wanted $35.00 a pound for it at the last Orlando Fair Grounds show! Math never was one of my strong points, but that's over twice the price! Seems like “gouging” has become the norm for components and ammo!Fred (Honcho)
