Howdy,

I would like to make some reduced velocity handloads for 7mm-08 using 120-140gr jacked bullets and Hodgdon Universal. I've some 160 lead gc as well.

Can anyone, Ed Harris, Seafire, et al help me out?

Best wishes,

Jack from PA

Jack,

I would start at 10 grains which should give you about 1300 -1400 fs. with both the jacketed and cast. I would not go over 14 grains. You want a light load so the 10 grain load should work.

Dear Steve &Bud,

Thank you both. I'll try it after I dig my reloading equipment out if my mess.

I'm looking for additional presses to augment a Lee O press and SDB in .44 mag. I'm on a wait list for a Lyman and/or Lee C press and the Lyman Brass 8-stage turret. That should do it.

Do you fellows have any experience with arbor presses, me not being a machinist? My gig is with living stuff.

You are welcome to visit if you get to central PA. Like Louis L'Amour says, the coffee is always on. I love classical literature, don't you?
