Has anyone had experience with Berrys plated bullets in the M-1 Carbine. If this is outside the scope of this forum please disregard.

beagle list to me, to get the best plated bullet there are go to evergladesammo.com.   There plated bullets are double plated and struck twice. Struck meaning sized.  You will think they are jacketed.  Berry's are junk, too thin of a coating.  Everglades also has free shipping and that makes a difference too.  Been shooting them for years and have zero problem with the bullets or the company. They are fast shipping too.  30 Carbine is one the bullets they specialize in.

Let me know how they work out for you and what you think.

I have some Berry plated 9mm and if the cases aren't chaffered and flare they easily scrap off the plating. Now Berry makes jacketed .224 bullets, now those shoot really good.  I have some Everglades .375 rifle bullet that are double plated struck trice and I sectioned one and I can't believe how thick the coating is.  I've been meaning to call him and ask him if he makes them or has someone else make them for him. I've written them good reviews too.

Good luck with them and I hope they work out well and that you like them. You should sign up to his emails if you like them as they have good deals.  I love the free shipping and fast too.

I have used Berry’s in a M1 carbine and a Ruger Super Black Hawk I did sell both guns a couple years ago to a collector but as far as Berry’s M 1 bullets go I never had an issue in 30 caliber I shot over 5000 of them as long as you follow there crimping recommendations.

See beagle, I told you they where fast. I'm positive you will like them.  Hard to tell them about from actually jacketed bullets huh?

I've dealt with everglades ammo. Good people to deal with.

If someone else had of done to me what I did to myself . . . I'd have killed him. Humility is an asset. Heh - heh.
