Has anyone had any experience with Norma R-23 powder? It was originally a .357 Magnum & .44 Magnum powder, short grain stick powder.
I have been given an unopened 400 gram can.
My application is #311576HP 112 gn gas check bullets in .30-30, loaded as fast as the group will allow. Data for 2400/4227 type powders suggests I'll end up at about 20 gns.
I'll fire one at 15 gns and see what the primer and the chronograph have to say.
You are only as good as your library.
