I mostly just read here and rarely post but I thought this might help a few people. Last month I spent 5-6 hours straight casting BPCR heavy bullets. I used CT machine's new style locking mould handles. They weigh about half of what my old CabineTree locking handles do. Here's the kicker.... One of the 2 I used was aluminum that I got to try out. I thought it might get hot but it didn't get any hotter than the steel one running side by side the whole time. It has steel bushings at the wear points. It weighed half of what the steel one does. It weighs less than an old style plier type mould handle. I know some folks don't like the locking handles but after 6 hours straight, my hands don't hurt and I'm not nearly as worn out. Bullet weight stayed consistant. I can cast a lot longer using these. I talked to Ed, at CT machine, and he has them on his web site now and Buffalo Arms also sells them.
