Am working up bench rest loads for my Mosin Nagant M39. Would like to buy enough NOE 314-203-SP-N1 bullets to prove their worth before investing in a mold. Have tried the Lyman 314299 with good success but is almost .100 to the rifling using a reasonable seating depth of .300. Initially used 17gr 2400 for a mv of approximately 1570 but feel I can push the NOE faster using a higher BHN mix. By the way, Quick Load lists 2400 as being way too fast a powder for this barrel. Am going to change to N140. Comments appreciated.
