It's the old NRA 50/50 with the old 2138 Alox and beeswax. No more 2138 available for many years.
Fryxell lube of 50/50 beeswax and moly lithium grease is soft and very good lube. Its what i replaced the old NRA lube with

You are looking for their 50-50 lube, 60 degrees to 120 degrees.

Also was a fan of Tamarack and when I couldn't get it switched to the White Label 50/50 (lsstuff.com). Formulation is the same and worked well in my 450 w/o a heater at room temp. I did find both a bit tacky so tried the XLOX 2500 they carry and it worked like the 50/50 in a sizer and was a little less tacky. I was using the 50/50 in handgun and the 2500 for rifle but now use the 2500 as it worked equally well in handgun and rifle. Was buying it in the bulk packages, and kept sealed in a ziplock bag has stored fine for the past 7-8 years. You won't be disappointed with either the 50/50 or 2500.

I have used the 50/50 white label. But find it quite a bit stiffer than the original NRA versions.

Back when I heard of Alox's discontinuance of 2138 I scrounged up a lifetime's worth of old Javelina 50/50. May be (probably) better lubes for specific purposes but as a good general all-arounder I'll stick with it. I bet posting WTB ads around the internet would deliver up all the Tamarack or old Javelina a fella could want.
For Schuetzen work, breech seating soft cast bullets, I've come to like some current stuff called "Javelina Schuetzen" available from the guy who makes it and sells on the ASSRA site. Instead of 50/50 beeswax/alox it's 75/25 beeswax/alox (whatever the current permutation Alox sells as a replacement for 2138). Softer than 50/50 - keep the bullets in a cooler on really hot days. Works pretty good for blackpowder cartridges too.
I have accumulated the fixings to duplicate a few old time bullet lube formulas. Steam cylinder oil? Got it. Japan wax? Ditto. Unfortunately it all sits in a plastic tube awaiting a burst of enthusiasm when I feel like re-inventing the wheel......

I use the 50/50 white label. I then put a coat of Bens Liquid Lube and it hardens a coat on the bullet not tackey at all.

Rooster Liquid Jacket is a wonderful tumble lube option. I've used it on lots of pistol bullets. Its a thin, hard non greasy coating.

Yep, but only you can say if it's objectionable to you. I clean my guns after a day of shooting anyway.....

if cleaning means wiping the exteriors before throwing them back in the safe.... then me too.
