Hello: This die came with a reloading lot I picked up. It has the standard 7/8 x 14 threads. The "cup" at the base of the die is spring loaded. The I.D. of the cup is .356. I put this on another forum but no one seemed to know for sure what it is for. I could not find any markings on the die. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
What type of die is this?

Probably like the "Vickerman" dies, the die holds the case in precise alignment and the "cup" is spring loaded. Should be very accurate but may be finicky on bullet diameters.
