I'm putting together a furnace from odds and ends. Does anyone know of an electrical supply place to get a adjustable dial thermostat from? Thanks, patrick

You can get one from Lee (a replacement for their pot) for about $11.00.

The Guy you want to talk to is Pig Slayer.  Pat is a retired electrical engineer, and a very nice fellow.  I am sure he could point you in the right direction.

Well, I'n not a electrical engineer but I am a Master Electrician. Thanks for the compliment though you "Old Coot"! LOL! Yes the Lee Thermostat will most certainly work but it has to be within very close proximity to the pot itself. That themostat is simply a bi-metal strip with a mechanism for changing the point gap. For $11.00 you can't beat it but again you'll have to properly position it. If help is needed, give a shout.
