I just want to thank our new Postal Match Director. I sent in my request for targets. And he sent an email saying he has it and is processing.

Shipping rates are getting ridiculously high. I have lots of these targets, but the cost for me to ship is stupid high. Last month I ordered some hvac filters for my house and they sent wrong size. Went to post office to return and price was $52.00 fo large box. Called company i ordered from and they told me to keep them and they sent me correct replacement.

Does this mean that WE get free replacement targets if the holes are in the wrong place?

Well in my life everything is getting expensive.. I think for me going to the range and shooting is cheap. Having to shoot a target or two a month forces me to the range. I enjoy it, its not a chore.
It is something to look forward too.

Sending in a Target through the USPS is about $1.25-$1.50 depending on the weight!

The folks that show up at the ranges I visit mostly drive very nice cars or trucks, most costing twice as much as my car and many use twice as much gas per mile. Much complaining about the cost of reloading supplies, gas, eggs, and even the small match fees. Just depends on your priorities I guess.

My observation is simialr to John's. One year I raised the CBA match entry from $12 tp $15 (where it has now remianed for over 15-years) and the sighs and groans were quite telling. New cars or pickups, fancy rifles, high buck spotting scopes, etc. Odd attitudes for sure.
