There continues to be many questions about working on S&W revolvers. I have gotten so many requests over the last year and turned so many away, because I stated I just do not have time to start smith'in again. But as time passes, I have changed my mind. So I will offer the following service:

For a flat $90 fee I will do the following:

-Fix all issues related to timing issues, endshake, cylinder wobble, and other common issues.
-Do a basic action job lessening single and double action pull
-Disassemble and clean the revolver
-Range Testing

All work done as taught to me by S&W, using factory quality speciality tools.

* - parts replacement is not included and will incur an additional fee
** - offer good for J, K, L & N frame revolvers only
*** - shipping cost to and from me extra

I stock most parts and most are readily available.

My Stainless 686 (vintage 1996) is my favorite pistol. I dislike the newer versions that have the trigger set too far forward, but I would still buy a newer 686 before buying anything else.
