I have been thinking about these 45 caliber military type muzzleloaders for years. Have any of you any experience with them?

I have both the Parker Hale and Euro Arms versions of the Whitworth and Volunteer rifles. I haven't seen a Pedersoli version of either.

Is the Euroarms a Volunteer and how well does it shoot. I believe Pedersoli bought Euroarms.

I have found no measurable difference in accuracy between my PH Volunteer with Rigby rifling and my Euro Arms Volunteer with Alex Henry rifling. Same with the PH and Euro Arms Whitworths. With tang/peep sights the accuracy is great. I have shot many 5 shot groups under 2.5" @ 100 yards. When I'm shooting well and the light conditions perfect the rifles can hold 1.5". I've not found them to be super picky about loads either. I don't size bullets .001" under bore diameter like most suggest. I like an slight interference fit.
