misprint?

In the latest Fouling Shot, there are a few listings in the shooting reports of using the Accurate 185c bullet. The catalog listing for that bullet is a pretty ugly piece of lead. Is there a misprint here?

They have sold 13 of those molds....ugly bullet too.

Maybe it’s some kind of adjustable hollow base bullet.

H&G 38 "Ness" design. You will need to have the hollow point pins made by someone like Hollowpoint Mold Service.

When I bought my original 1930s era mould without pins it was listed on ebay as a 32-20 hollow base mould. Instead, it's a pretty uncommon double hollowpoint design. H&G recommended only having one cavity HP'd per mould and I can see why. The double HP moulds are a bitch to use because of the pin handles design. Ones okay, but two on the same block is pretty crowded.

HL Yarborough designed it. He also had Larry Blackmon (Bullet Swaging Supply) make the “bump” die and uses it in a Blackmon swage press. The finished bullet has a truncated cone for a nose.

I picked up one of those molds in an auction lot. I read they were to break up on impact to avoid ricochet. They should be cast hard to accomplish this. Cast soft with the smaller pins they might expand well. I hope to find out when I get some cast up.
