I have a friend that is selling out and moving and wants to sell a Mark 1V like new. This gun appears to have been shot very little he has replaced the original sights with the correct Parker Hale aperture sights and has the original sights. He is asking $850 and lives in the Kansas City area. Anyone interested send me a message and I can give you his telephone number.

What is it again? I looked as I am not familiar w/ the Mk.1 V variant. The only thing I could come up w/ was a Brit issued flare gun or the Brit WWI tank.

The enfield #1 mk 5 was the transition rifle just before the #4 was adopted. Imagine a #1 in the front and kind of a #4 peep sight in the back. The Rifleman.org has a good article on them with pictures if you want to check it out. Kind if a rare bird too.

I'm drawn to old British firearms like the proverbial moth to flame. I don't have one of these, or a Long Lee Metford, or an Adams revolver or..... not enough time or money regardless. So hoping someone has fun.

If the rifle was made in 1944 it would be a No.4 MkI.
