On a serious not at today's prices what should I be asking for a thousand federal large pistol primers Thanks.

I would say it depends on your choice. Back pre virus the prices around here ran $30 to $35/1000. I would compare that to today's prices and decide on what I want for them. Best advise I can give.

since cci recommended retail price today for large pistol is $90, i would consider that a reasonable price for yours.   that is what you will have to pay to replace primers ... at least until tomorrow ...   

my opinion ... everybody has one ...

They are running 8 to 9 per 100 retail with a limit of 200 here in SD. Small pistol and rifle most frequently found on the shelf. Match are 10 bucks.

In October of 2019 I paid $31 a thousand and I thought they were too expensive.
