Has anyone had any experience, good or bad, with using Hodgdon 322 & cast bullets with bottleneck rifle cartridges?  Thanks, Bill C.

I had good luck with it in the 7mmTCU with the Saeco 070 at approx. 145g. I  don't remember the charge but it was 20 something. IIRC it was around 24g.

Thanks Shuz.  Offhand would you know the approximate case capacity the 20 grains occupied.  Any comments on SD?

30 BR would have meant a full case of powder and a small rifle primer, right?

yup about 28g woth 200g bullet  IIRC and used both LP and SP cases I formed.

Did you notice any difference in SD or velocity between the SR & LR primers?

it was 25 years ago and I don't recall. It seemed though the LR primers were more accurate when I was using slower ball powders.

Was nearly a full case as I recall. Don't remember the SD but velocity was around 

1850 fps.  This was outta 16 inch XP-100.
