While browsing the NOE site looking to see what he had left I came upon this mold that looked like a good candidate to add to my plain base stable. It's 225 grains and while easy to cast with the only thing I would probably have done differently is add a bevel base but it is what it is. I took it out for a test run yesterday using the same load of #9 I use with the Lee 230 grainer I've been playing with lately. While the results aren't stellar I'm not too disappointed and will play with the amount of taper I add to the bullet and neck sizer buttons to see if it improves. Running a wet patch through showed a couple of small flakes of lead but no more than I've gotten in the past with both coated and lubed bullets. Average velocity for the 35 shots was 1385 fps. There's not much left on NOE's shelves but for 67 bucks shipped for a custom mold I couldn't pass it up.
