I do not know if Chas was a CBA member or not, but I do know that as the list owner of the CB-L it was the only unofficial presence for the CBA prior to initiating their own email list, which later became the CBA Forum.  Chas faced a long illness before passing and may he finally have peace and his family have comfort.  Thank you for your service.

i am still a member of that early ( and current ) forum ... Charles ran a tight ship ( g ) but in the way of keeping the forum on course.

i worked with Charles on a few projects and was a big fan of him personally and for what he went through from lasting effects due to his time in Viet Nam .  maybe Agent Orange wasn't such a great idea after all.

he will be missed.

Sad to hear of his passing.

I was an early member of CB-L, and when I first joined his forum Tom Gray was active there, who had a lot of quality posts.   His forum was there and running LONG before the Castboolit Forum was much in use.

It would have been nice to have saved/printed out some of the threads, but as I recall there were issues with the platform being switched around and all forums there having problems.

I met him in 1998 at the BPCR Nationals at Raton, he introduced me and my friend to Bo Clerke, who was making barrels at the time

Interesting guy, sorry to hear he passed
