I ordered some group targets from the CBA store on July 26th. The site says they're still processing. Can anyone give me an approximation on how long it takes to process and ship target orders?

Patrick, you won't get any updates about your order, but I can tell they have shipped. Once they ship, it is out of our hands.

Thank you Angela. I've been checking my account in the Shop CBA area and my order hasn't changed from "processing" which is why I asked. I'll keep a lookout for them being delivered.

Yes, this is a downfall of the current store. The webmaster has been looking at different options to improve our store. Sorry for any inconvenience.

I hope you get targets soon.

BTW shipping rates now days are very expensive. Is there anything politician's can do to reduce inflation.

Kind of related.....

I score a CBA Postal event. One of the shooters sent me his targets that were due 15 July. He sent them from a post office on 15 July. So far (7 Aug.) they have not showed up.

I told him I quit putting outgoing mail in our mailbox @ the curb. Too many bills arriving here after the bill was due and too many bill payments arriving at the other end when they had been sent 7-10 dats before the due date. Carrier, sorting station, ineptence....who knows? Everything is taken to the Post Office 2-miles away. Just cannot trust USPS.

My shooter did not get a tracking number. I always get one.

We got lucky...he took photos of his targets (for his own use) and e-mailed copies to me, good enough to score.

It really chaps my hide but shipped no longer means the article has left the premises. Often it just means a shipment has been assigned to a carrier to generate a carrier pickup. I am in no way saying this is the SOP for our target orders. IOW shipment tracking is not always factually correct. In my professional life shipped means the load is on my truck and has left the shipper.

Since my range went to electronic, I have enough of these paper targets to last longer than my lifetime. There is no more going down range to change target.

Ou812, Tell us more in a new thread.  I think we all know what the electronic targets are, but not much more.

What is the dope on the current prices per target? Is your range a commercial range or a club? How many does your range have? Are there any problems?

Briefly they use Kongsberg Target Systems. I will have more later. Range is always green to shoot, never ceasefire.

John,

Our range has electronic targets for NRA high power. We even have 1000 yd range.

The bullet must be super sonic to make the system work.

You use your phone or a Ipad to see your hits.

Thanks, I knew they were acoustic but hadn't made the obvious connection that some of the loads shot in CBA competition may not be super sonic, especially at 200 yards. Also no good for 22 RF with std. velocity ammo wouldn't work. Hmmmmm.
