I'm using 13 1/2 to 14 1/2 grains in my 06 with a 180 grain plain base bullet. Velocity is around 1400 fps. It shoots alright but it's hit or miss so far. I'd probably drop it down a bit to start with the 30/30.

I've used #9(and w296)  in  30-30 and 308 probably thirty years. It works great.

i have several  #'s of # 9 not being used in my 44 mag anymore.  I was looking for a use in my cast bullets for rifle reloads.

the one and only RCBS Cast Bullet Manual has loads for rifles with W296 and H110.While not identical to #9 I've used the data with #9 with success
