I got an order today that included 4100 and Enforcer powder. Looking at them they look exactly the same and throw the same weight charge at my powder measure setting. I assume they're the same powder packaged differently. Does anyone know if this is true? When the wind dies down to a mild gale I'll chronograph them to see if the velocity's the same at the same charge but I'm leaning towards they're the same thing only different.

The fellows on the ASSRA forum swear it's the same exact powder.

I've used them interchangeably in my BS 32-40 FWIW. That stuff flows across my bench like water...![]()

https://ncfs.ucf.edu/powders/index.php, a little hard to use, but helpful, graphs powder pressure curves
site has burning characteristics of powder, supposedly the power 4100/enforcer has a pressure curve, that is milder(term) than the No. 9 clones. the reason the 32-20, 25-20, 22 hornet guys like it, powder does not seem to beat the brass up

Thanks Chuck and everyone else who replied. I looked at that link you posted and it's a little above my pay scale. I'll take your word 4100 is a little milder pressure curve wise than #9. I plan on going shooting Tuesday morning (Monday night is supposed to be a low of 24 so it should be a grand old time) and I'll post the results with using 4100 and possibly N110 if I have enough time and bullets. I'm bringing .308, .309, and .310 bullets and some .309 I dumped in water out of the toaster oven. All tapered. Also bringing 3 different powders. My only problem with bringing all that stuff is keeping it all straight and trying to slow down, when I'm freezing my arse off, enough to actually give everything an equal chance.

Here is the greater Seattle area, I'd only shoot the last two weeks in July and all of August.
