PM box ???

lately there has been a constant “you have two new private messages” note in my forum PM box. When I then click on it and go to my inbox, it is empty But the PM box still says that I have two messages there.

Any body know what's going on.

I have had outdated mail show up much later than present time.  Have you looked back through the incomming mail?  Maybe you need to delete some incomming mail if you have a lot on  the site?

Right now, I have trouble connecting to the threads from the home page and have to “refresh” to get there.  Not sure if it is me, the forum, or the net in general.  I will just keep muddling along until it clears up.  Duane

I super zapped all the messages,sent and received and that did the trick.

I also have to refresh, especially when posting a reply. All of this started just recently. And am sure that I will have to do it with this one.

  I'm having the same problem. It's really an aggravation when you have a long reply or topic starter typed out that disappears into space when you try to post it and have to refresh the website to get back on. As ridiculous as it sounds I've taken to copying my posts before trying to send them now. Hopefully by replacing or upgrading the server we'll end these problems since I don't have them anywhere else..

What's up with this website? I just waited about 5 minutes for it to load to end up being told “Page Not Available.” There's a lot of new guys (that's potential CBA members if anyone's listening) signing up and if this is what they have to put up with they ain't going to be around long. I think the people that populate this thing have stomached the made up and real problems long enough. Either fix the damned thing or shut it down!!

I feel I have some skin in the game because not only have I been a moderator since this thing started but also because of people being willing to spend a little money for a postal match I was able to send a check to the treasurer to be used for forum upgrades with more promised in the future. If all that's going to happen is that the money's going to end up sitting in a shoe box in somebody's closet somewhere I'd just as soon send it to the Salvation Army where it might do some possible good.

I hate to be the burr under the saddle but enough is enough. If the software's obsolete then replace it. If it can get updates then update it.

Sorry for the rant but I think it had to be said.

I'm on 4G wireless connection and I have no problems. My PM mail was messed up for almost two years showing 'new' messages but not rally having anything new.

No loading problems...I do get the 'page not available' scene, but I click again and 'bam' I'm there. 4G rocks....Dan

I don't even know what 4G is or care. All I know is I don't have any problems anywhere else so the problem is with the site and not my computer or internet provider. And if you're getting the 'page not available' message you are having a problem. Do you get it anywhere else?

Uh? No, I don't get it anywhere else. Maybe its a guverment conspiracy against targeted websites :shock:
