If Obama is re-elected it will finally become economical to paper patch bullets with dollar bills. On the down side bullets containing lead will become illegal. Lee Wiggins

As Dick Cheney said, ” Obama is an unmitigated disaster.” In my 60 years on this planet I have never seen such a mess as we have with this administration.

If someone else had of done to me what I did to myself . . . I'd have killed him. Humility is an asset. Heh - heh.

Yes, I most strongly support President Obama. I don't know that he's a gun hater-what laws has he proposed concerning guns and/or gun ownership. Yes, you may have got me wrong. Remember, Wayne's job and > $.5M annual salary depend on keeping you in fear. Don't some of you feel a little silly having those crates of $40 primers in the shed?

joe b. 4MY Who's Wayne? FWIW, my primers still only average about $13.00/1k. I bought them prior to the previous Socialist trainwreck, I probably have enough to get me through 4 more years of the current disaster. I've never understood Socialism, perhaps Joe can enlighten us as to the benefits of surrendering our rights.

Wayne the rock, leader of your NRA, that used to print an interesting magazine. Wayne is continuing the Chicken Little screech,(the sky is falling in and only I can save you)of the NRA, their rock since 1900.
Which rights have you surrendered? Who did you surrender them to? joe b. 4MY!!!

Well, my son and a few of his friends came out and helped me build three of those black guns; AR15's. One for myself, one for my 65 year old brother and one for a buddy moving here from Californica in 3 years. Mine was a standard flat top 16” 5.56 Carbine with folding stock. Price for mine came in at $526.96. These things are really getting cheaper and can be quite good shooters even if you have to shoot jacketed bullets in them. You-all better get yours befor they get banned if Obummer get's re elected. I really doubt it because the only polls we hear about is the plitically slanted MSNBC, CBS, NBC propaganda polls. I just dont think he's got a real chance but keep listenting to those left wing channels and they will try to convince you differently.

Because I said so!

I vividly remember an encounter I had with a guy almost four years ago while waiting in a line for a gun show at the Cow Palace in San Francisco. Obama had just been elected but not yet inaugurated. I was there to stock up on primers and powder. I said something to a guy in line with me about how we're in for a minimum of four years of profligate government spending, higher taxes, and gun restrictions, (naturally assuming I was talking to a kindred spirit). Wrong! The guy went off on what a terrible president Bush was, etc. So, I figured, be a little more careful next time--you can even find a liberal whack job in a gun show crowd. When the gate opened, I made a beeline for the reloading components. Who did I see there also stocking up? You guessed it--whack job. I asked him if he thought he'd be there if Bush had been reelected but I got no answer.

I do not do Facebook, so cannot confirm, but I read the other day that Bank of America told McMillan the bank no longer wants their business since McM. is now manufacturing firearms and not just accessories. McMillan is supposed to have posted on their Facebook pages the details along with the name of the bank official who delivered the news.

If you have a VISA card from BassPRO shops, you are doing business with Bank of America. Perhaps any VISA card ultimately traces back thru B of A.

Does anyone here do Facebook who can confirm this story?

And for the poor benighted soul on this thread who does not believe that Obama is an anti-gun zealot, you should check Eric Holder's on-the-record remarks, and the facts now being brought to light about the Fast and Furious gun-walking scandal.  Fast and Furious was designed from the start to make it seem like the guns the Mexican drug cartels were getting were mainly from the US. Thus creating a phony rationale for more anti-gun regulations.  The evidence so far unearthed demonstrates that the dog-eating kenyan squatting in our White House and the racist serving as Attorney General were deeply involved in the Fast and Furious program and are therefore partly responsible for the deaths of hundreds of Mexicans and several other federal law enforcement officers besides the late Brian Terry.

Good shooting! RT

anachronism wrote: I'm still waiting for Joes dissertation on why socialism is best for America. Be specific Did I say that Socialism is best for America? Definition of SOCIALISM 1 : any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods.

I do not advocate the public ownership of the means of production. As an Economist, I have concluded that Capitalism is a more efficient economic organization.

I do advocate a/some form of Socialized Medicine, with health care available to all and the G as the single payer. This because the health care system in the US costs ~ twice per capita as much as health care in other industrialized countries with some/many poorer results here. We're paying too much and not getting as good service. Yet in this case, competition with Socialized medicine systems in other countries-where we lose badly, is convincingly portrayed as BAD SOCIALISM, and health insurance companies rake in the profits. See Dick Cheney get a heart transplant at 71 while uninsured 30-year-olds die for lack of that transplant because they don't have health insurance.

Capitalism/free market capitalism/competition requires G regulation, else Enron, AIG, Tyco, LTCM, Madoff, ...

Keynes said that the challange of politics is devising ways to simultaneously have economic efficiency, social justice and personal freedom. A long time ago. We're still trying.

The most important economic knowledge that I know of is this. 50% of the people in the USA are below average in _. 50% of the people in the USA are below average intelligence, for example. And, if they disappear tomorrow, it will still be true. Society must be designed to assure that all, including that 50%, have a reasonable economic life; else they will come to your house and take your stuff.

Is that clear enough? Anachronism, what freedoms have been taken away? joe b 4MY!!!!!
