I've owned this Korean. 50 Dragon Claw for about a year.i shelved it a few months back as I've been playing with pistols at the 50' indoor range mostly.

I cast a pile if the NOE 522g SWC for my 500 SW to work up a plinking load and decided to run a few in the Dragon Claw.Bullets were powder coated and sized. 502 after.I shot them at the low power setting and IIRC is about 450 fps.Its good for 12 good shots before pressure drops off.

These are the three 5 shot groups at 50' today after moving the scope closer to zero..I'd forgotten how gun is to shoot. The Donny FL "moderator" makes it super quiet.

That's wild. Have you tried it on high power with that bullet?

yes and at 50 yards it shoots about 3" .Good for 5 shots full power  at about 300 FPE. I have chronograph data and pictures somewhere. The TC .50 Maxiball also did well.

I have my own 4500 PSI compressor and large tank so it's pretty cheap to shoot.

How many fills do you get out of a tank? What does 300 fpe relate to velocity wise?

from a 90CI 4500 psi tank at low power I get 5 fills.At full power 3 fills.High power its 670 fps with 322g bullet.

Definitely takes it out of the Red Rider class.

took it out to the 50' indoor range again tonight.I shot the first 5 on full power and the next 5 on low power, all on one fill. Then I filled again and accidentally put one in backwards so being that it hit close to where it should of I shot 4 more backwards. They cut nice wadcutter holes but weren't as accurate. I fired the next 5 point foreword on low power and on was grouping as usual.Being I have my own 4500 psi compressor and am using reclaimed lead it's as close to free shootimg as a guy can get.

Pretty impressive George and a definite ego booster. Are those bullets powder coated and if not do they have to be lubed and sized?

yes powder coated and sized after coating to .501. Airgun bullets don't need lube as no heat but the coating seemed to help this bullets accuracy.

I've shot a TC maxiball unsized and no lube and they also shot well.I think they were .508 on one band
