I shoot mostly pistols and revolvers these days. I cast my own bullets. I have several thousand cast, sized and lubed bullets at any given time. I use plastic boxes with secure lids. As I size the bullets (with a Star sizer) I place them upright in rows in several layers in a plastic box similar in size to cigar boxes.
The boxes are dust tight and are kept in a climate controlled basement workshop. I label the boxes with a label maker in an easily read size with description of the bullets. Inside, I have the size, alloy and can see which lube I am currently using (Carnauba Red from Lars White Label lubes).
I load for several different calibers (.32, .38/.357, .44 Special/Magnum, .45 ACP, and .45 Colt) so it is important for efficiency to keep them properly labeled.
When I want to load, there is no screwing around - just grab the proper bullets, check the two Dillon 550B's for correct dies and proceed.
