I have been shooting blown out 223 cases in a 357 Max chamber Encore with a 223 extractor instead of a 357 rimmed extractor . Have had good results out to 200 yards , with 200 gr bullets . I cut the cases back to 1.5 in and set the bullet touching rifling with cast bullets and Acc 1680 powder .

I like your way of thinking!
in my Ruger #1 357 Magnum the throat is such I can shoot 250g bullets subsonic with good accuracy. I'm.a 35 Caliber rifle fan.I shoot a 35-40 with 335g & 325g bullets breech seated and it's a hoot.(bullets shown)

"if it was easy we'd let women do it" don't tell my wife I said that!

I found I could size 350 Ledgend cases and trim them to 1.6 or 1.5 in .
