A while back I asked if I could come for one day to watch the 2024 part National Match and maybe meet some of our members. Will I have any problem getting through the gate, don't have a membership card, ID or what.

As both a board member for CBA and a club member of Piedmont Gun Club, we would welcome you to stop and stay a while. There's always some information to learn at a national tournament ,and I've heard more than one "fishing" style story about groups and scores. We're a pretty welcoming bunch, and I believe you'll find your time to be well spent.

We would love to have you come to the National Tournament. Piedmont Gun Club in Rutherfordton, NC is hosting the match this year.
We love visitors, and answering questions.

Dan Hisle is the contact person for Piedmont. He also the CBA Region #3 director. His information is listed on the CBA website. I know he would be glad to answer any and all questions.

As VP of Piedmont Gun Club, I can guarantee that the gate will be open to get in and stay as long as you like on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Not sure where you are located but please come out an enjoy the fellowship. We are one big family that welcomes new people. Anything you need, just ask.

I started shooting with the CBA in 1998 and never had a more welcoming bunch of people in my life! You will have a great time.

For anybody that has not been to Piedmont Gun Club and wants a ~5 min. video tour, PIEDMONT GUN CLUB Drone Video.mp4 - Google Drive. You'll need a fairly fast connection to watch it. If viewed from a browser, you will get a low-res preview. If you download it, you can watch in 4K, however it is a rather large file (~14 GB).
