Wish I'd have put my hands on a copy before I purchased this book.  Previous editions were kind of a big catalog along with some interesting articles.  This one doesn't show any prices and there's really no casting equipment section at all.  I would advise you look at a copy before you buy one.  Seriously doubt I'll ever take it off the shelf again.

On a happier note I'm starting to get used to the new format on here and think I'll like it.  Can only imagine how much work and time has gone into getting things this far.  Thanks guys!!!!

I totally agree with you on the HD #19. I have a complete collection of them and was kind of excited when the #19 came out, However I was really disappointed when I received it. The articles have great pictures, but that's all they are, pictures. Very little content.

Luckily I was able to thumb through a copy before I spent any money. I too have a complete set of HD's. When Krause Publications bought the Gun Digest publisher they stopped paying for writers. Now it is pretty much cut and paste from the internet. Just us old folks want things printed on paper. However, Collector Grade Publications in Canada is still doing very well!

I think HANDLOADER'S DIGEST is one of the GUN DIGEST publications that was purchased from Krause by F+W Publications in recent years. I'm not sure if the 19th edition is a deterioration over what many of us were used to for years, but it is certainly different. GUN DIGEST continues to pay for articles, so I'll assume the other associated works like HD also pays.
