Yes, yesterday. I was quite disappointed when I discovered I had it read from cover to cover so fast. I suppose that's mostly due to the interesting articles it contained.

I agree it seems to go by too fast! I force myself to NOT read it cover to cover. This issue is a gold mine. When I need a fix I re-read the past issues.

I know that some people would rather see more articles than 16 pages of match results, but I've spent HOURS! pouring through the military rifle match results and data sheets, and find it facinating to pour through the minutae of what rifles, bullets and loads were used by the successful shooters.

Right there is the proof of the pudding that the shooting and results are real, and not created from the imagination at the keyboard!!!!!

The new shooter who wants to know what “works” has only to carefully read and the results obtained can be duplicated by anyone.

This is the logical marriage of truth with reality.

You can't get it anywhere else.

Yeah, I have been reading gun-zines since shortly after I learned to read, read all of Wolf Publishing's magazines, which seem to be about the best of the commercial publishing world - but the Fouling Shot is by far the king of the group. Like TTurner, I also force myself not to devour it in the first hour after I get it out of the mailbox, but rather read an article at a time, savoring it like Glenfiddich, rather than tossing it all down the hatch at once like Rebel Yell...The match results are indeed a gold mine of “what actually worked” information, also an inspiration as to how small a group can actually be made with home-cast bullets.

Ken: Got my F.S. on Wed. after my usual franticified wait. Perhaps when you get your copy, you'll find yourself blissipated.

I know many prefer the hard copy. However, one advantage of email is that it is INSTANT!

Just a thought...

The digital copies also have better pictures and are easier to store and search back copies as well as being cheaper. I have a feeling we will be offering both versions for a long time.

Like biting into ones favorite candy bar, how can anyone not take that second bite? That's The Fouling Shot, how can anyone not keep reading and finishing it in the first hour of it's arrival? :)
