Several years back I got a small piece of aluminum tape that was placed on the mating flats of a bullet mold to bump the bullet size up a few thousands.What was the tape and where do I get more?

a process commonly called 'Beagle-ing' the mould.
Use a metallic tape, used in the HVAC trade to tape up high temperature sheet-metal as in stove pipes.

There is also an adhesive copper “foil” that is used in the manufacture of stained glass windows. The HVAC tape is probably easier to find though.

Try a Hobby Lobby if one is near you. I've bought copper foil tape from then; they've got several different widths.
