I'm looking for a wheeled robot car with light and tv camera, a recorder of tv info, and controller for the robot car. To go in crawl spaces, inspect, and record tv info. Anyone know about this stuff? I could also send it down to look at my targets.

joe, I had a plumber who had a TV camera with light on a snake and used it to check for broken drains. There is a camera system for checking/monitoring targets at range. You set it up at the target and use the video to score you shots. Supposedly it is good to 1000 yds. Brodie

Don't know if this might help or, not.https://www.youtube.com/embed/4vGcH0Bk3hg?rel=0 As info, as of last week if a drone weighs 8 oz. or more, it has to be registered with the FAA. Probably going to get worse. Another incident in the last day or so with a drone interfering with a jet liner landing at a major air port.Don

i built radio controlled model cars for 40 years .... if this is a one-time deal, get a neighbor kid with a big wheeled dune buggy ( traxxis big max por ejemple ) and duct tape your digital movie camera to it .

those will climb stairs so might work fine .

of course you could also put a target frame on it and have it run your targets down range ... ( g ) .

kenThat's what I need, a radio controlled model car. Battery operated, not fast, big wheels.

Digital movie camera. Does that send tv to ? a laptop? Can you save the tv record?

kenI need to drive the RC car around under the crawl space, it looks with tv, the tv comes out to my laptop, I save the tv  on a flash drive. I know you can do it. When it's working good, drive it down to the targets, tv looks, see the targets on laptop, save to flash drive. Please get on this, stop wasting your time on this forum, tell me what to buy and explain to me how to use it. Then Friday I'll move to the next project. Don't tell me there's a RC threshold!

That sounds like what I need to build my long dreamed of running pig target carrier -- with the Big Max in a shallow trench of behind a small berm of course.

But, I have put off the project for so long that now that I couldn't hit the pig offhand if it was standing still.  Procrastination eventually helps you mark things of the list.

As for Joe's project, I suggest a low tech solution --  a small boy they love to wiggle in under things they should stay out of  and get dirty.
