Hello, I found reference in a couple of old forum posts to the “Tamaqua, PA Shooting Club". I would be very interested if anyone could give me any contact info, background/history on the club. I live in the Tamaqua area and would be interested in becoming involved if the club is still active. Thank you!

tdewire,

Try going to this page and using the contact info for region 2 director. http://www.castbulletassoc.org/officers.shtml

They will most likely point you in the right direction.

Tdewire, our summer home is in Lakeville, PA right near Lake Wallenpaupack, don't know if Tamaqua is near us, but don't you use the outdoor State shooting ranges? There are lots of them, and I use the one in Hawley, right on Rt.6-- It only costs $35./year for a permit, which is good at all the ranges. (It used to be free, up until a few years ago, but I don't mind a small fee, as it is used strictly for maintenance of the ranges).
Also I don't know how close you are to Honesdale, PA, but they opened a new indoor range there, last Fall, don't know any membership details on it. Cheers, Fred (Honcho)
