Not counting the 223 brass that carpets the range the old mossback 30-30 is the most popular with 30-06 not far behind. Everything else 243, 308,270,and 35 rem. is trailing behind. I have a 30-30, 32 spec. and a 22 Donaldson wasp so the brass is welcome. Frank C.

Frank: As you say, lots of 223. Next up LOTS of 40 S&W and 9mm pistol brass. I feel lucky if I find any rifle brass but the 223 but always nice to find some 30-06 to reform to 8X57. Gp

Wow, here it is 300 Ultra mag, 300 Win Mag, 270 Win, besides the 7.65x54R and 7.63X39. Once in a while a piece of 308. Oh, I did find two .243 today, first in a year.   ps, but we have lots of reloaders here! So they pick theirs up.

My club is made up of mostly Bambi snappers a few reload to that end. Otherwise very few reloaders. Mark my words there will be severe brass shortages in the future brought on by liberals or our own hoarding I save everything as reforming is easy. I found a bunch of 22-250 brass but it was left because it was at the end of its service life, cracked when I resized it scrap brass barrel. Frank C.

Nothing but .22 rim fires and steel cases composting at my club. The boys would snatch brass out of the air if they could get away with it.

Our range is going to have a new carpet soon. I'm just not sure which will be aluminum and which will be rusted steel, the carpet or the carpet pad.

What .22's? that stuff hasn't been for sale in this area for so long I've forgotten what it is.

The only brass that get's put in our brass barrels for recycling is that stuff that's been reloaded so many times, it's three loading's beyond it's service life.

Some police were shooting at the range several weeks back and left new .308 and some 30-06 brass on the ground. We tax payers bought that so they left it lay. I picked it up knowing it was mine since I paid for it. :) I don't have a 308 but a friend does.
