Is Ken still with us I haven't seen anything from him in a long time. He must be up in his 90's I wish him the best he's a straight shooter something not too common with gun writers. Frank C.

Not really much information, but, while at a SHOT Show a few years ago, I spoke with one of the representatives at the Wolfe Publishing (HANDLOADER & RIFLE magazines) booth.
I was told that Ken Waters still enjoyed relatively good health but, of course, was no longer writing.
I would guess he's ninety-five or older. Still my favorite gunwriter.

That Ken could gather that much information on that many calibers in one life time is an amazement to me. I've spent many enjoyable hours reading Pet Loads. Thank you Ken wherever you are. GP

another ” ken ” that i wonder about is ken howell .
i have his _ design and making of custom cartridges _ ... which is a terrific reference on case dimensions ..and how to convert as needed .
if you get a chance to read this book, or obtain same, grab it .
anyone have any info on dr. howell ?
