I recently purchased a Swiss Vetterli and wanted to know if anyone knew where I could have it converted to centerfire? And, I was wondering what people use for bullets and load data. I slugged the bore and it measures .426. I have formed casings out of 8mm LeBel and now I need the rest of the information to get it running. Any help will be greatly appreciated

Alas I have forgot the right address of the site , but there is the complete explanation of the work you want to do on the web .
Good luck , load to the level of a trapdoor springfield .
My lighter 43 Spanish Rollig block uses more modern inside lubricated bullets.

Google is your friend. If you cannot do this any competent machinist or 'smith can. http://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?21917-Vetterli-centerfire-conversion
