OK, that's it. I've had enough of the snow, freezing rain & temperatures in the teens & below!! I'm getting itchy to go to the range & send all this lead downrange that I've cast. Got cabin fever guys! Need some breathing room!

If someone else had of done to me what I did to myself . . . I'd have killed him. Humility is an asset. Heh - heh.

My uncle stopped over a couple of weekends ago. He remarked, “I was stationed in Fairbanks and it wasn't this bad.".

Since you are so tired of winter why don't you send it back here to us.  We would all be happy to have it here in Northern Arizona. Brodie

Brodie I'll bet the cold would be tough on all those scorpions and nasty bugs you guys get to deal with. Up here we hope it stunts the skeeters growth.

Minus ten here this morning and almost a foot of new snow.  The sun is shining and the woods are beautiful.  But I wouldn't argue that it isn't inconvenient and by the end of the month I will be tired of it -- but it won't be done with us. Had to snowshoe back and fourth to change targets yesterday and my trigger finger did get a bit cool. John

I'm envious of that warm weather Pigslayer.  All the way up in the teens eh.Since the first of the year we've had a lot of temperatures that have a minus sign in front of them and a lot of the time the wind produced chill factors in the negative double digits. I just checked the weather forecast and after a “warm” night last night staying above zero, and see it is supposed to drop to - 8 by Monday with a high of +6. It is even too cold to ice fish. It isn't supposed to be like this in Indiana.

Dear Diary

Aug.12 Moved to my new home in Pa. It is so beautiful here. The mountains are so majestic. Can hardly wait to see them with snow covering them. I LOVE IT HERE !!

Oct.14 Pa is the most beautiful place on earth. The leaves are turning all colors and shades of red and orange. Went for a ride through the mountains and saw some deer. They are so graceful, certainly they are the most wonderful animal on earth. This must be paradise. I LOVE IT HERE !!

Nov.11 Deer season will soon start. I can't imagine anyone wanting to kill such a gorgeous creature. Hope it will snow soon. I LOVE IT HERE !!

Dec. 2 It snowed last night. Woke up to find everything blanketed with white. It looks like a postcard. We went outside to clean the snow off the steps and shoveled the driveway. We had a snowball fight (I won), and when the snow plow came by, we had to shovel the driveway again. What a beautful place. I LOVE PA.

Dec. 12 More snow last night. I love it ! The snow-plow did his trick again on the driveway.O HOW I LOVE IT HERE

Dec.19 More snow last night. Couldn't get out of the driveway to get to work. I am exhausted from shoveling snow, darn snow-plow.

Dec.22 More of that white stuff fell last night. I've got blisters on my hands from shoveling. I think the snow-plow hides around the corner and waits untill I'm done shoveling the driveway. That ------- !!!

Dec.25 Merry fricking Christmas! More fricking snow. If I ever get my hands on that guy who drives that snow-plow, I swear I'll kill him. Don't know why they don't use more salt on the roads to melt the darn ice.

Dec.27 More white stuff last night. Haven't been outside for three days except for shoveling out the driveway after that snow-plow goes through every time. Can't go anywhere, car is stuck in a mountain of that white stuff. The weatherman says to expect another 10” of snow again tonight. Do you know how many shovels full of snow 10” is ?

Dec.28 The fricking weatherman was wrong. We got 34” of that fricking white stuff this time. At that rate it won't melt till next summer. The snow -plow got stuck up the road and that so and so came to the door and ask to borrow my shovel. After I told him I had broken six shovels already shoveling all the darn snow he pushed in my driveway.

Jan.4 Finally got out of the house today. Went to the store to get some food and on the way back a deer ran out in front of the car and I hit it. Did about $3000 in damage to the car. Those deer should all be killed. Wish the hunters had killed them all last November.

May 3 Took the car to the garage in town today. Would you believe the thing is rusting out from all the darn salt they put all over the roads.

May 10 Moved to Georgia. I can't imagine why anyone in their right mind would ever live in that god-forsaken state of Pa.

I live in Flagstaff, AZ, 7500 ft above sea level.  It was 16 below zero last December.  What we really need is snow; otherwise it is going to be a long dry fire deadly summer.  Four years ago the manager at the local Home Depot called his office and asked for more snow blowers.  The reply was: “What do you need them for its all desert where you are."  he replied: “Then why do I have 6ft. snow outside?". Just a little geography lesson for all you under educated people that whine so much. Brodie

Bought a Heavy Metal .30 cal. mould and made some test loads to shoot in my silhouette pistol. Bought a new Saeco mould for my “new” lever action Marlin 336 in .38-55 and put some test loads together. Put some new test loads together for my C. Sharps Model 74 in .40-70 ss. Bought a new Accurate mould in .38 Special for my S&W Model 52 and put some test loads together.

Am getting real tired of staring at those 4 ammo boxes. There are times when living in Minnesota isn't that great but I can always count on the ruling political class to be more miserable than the lousy freezing weather.....takes your mind off the absence of good range time!

As long as I can get to the range we shoot from inside a heated building, out the windows not too bad once the wood furnace is going good I spent 3 years in North Dakota in the 60's...this winter is just a taste of the winters I spent there God Bless the people that live there

Got up to about 40 today.  Warm enough for our black and white friends to come out - this is my first one of the season (39 last year) in my back yard (in town too).  Grass stays about this green all 'winter' here in the mountains of Virginia.

Yep, even winter here in the desert! Friday morning it was -4 when it started snowing; Sunday morning it was +20 and 14inches of powder. Just enough the electric leaf blower wouldn't do it, so had to get the snow shovel out. Snow had 0.092” of rain water equivalent in it. But the sun is coming up earlier every day! Spring is around the corner! Ric

Forgot to mention that we've had below zero temps. Just giving the average. We've actually had temps down to -13. But through it all, I'd rather have this then the heat in Australia.
