10.4 bhn for plain base 223 bullets

Just mixed up some oddball alloy and got a bhn of 10.4 after sitting about 4 hrs in 39 degree temperature. Will this make a decent alloy for either plain base or gas check bullets in 223 with a 12 twist barrel??? Low velocity under 2000 fps.. thanks

Shold work fine under 1500 fps or preferably to duplicate 22LR velocity at 1000 - 1100 fps.

I breech seat a Jones .22lr type bullet in.a 225 Winchester  Hiwall at 9-10 bhn and run them under 1200 with some success. 

"if it was easy we'd let women do it" don't tell my wife I said that!
