Hello, I enjoy using the old Lyman Tong Tool and have a small collection of dies, mostly in rifle calibres plus a Lyman Tru-Line Jnr Press. I have manged to find a full set of 38sp/357mag dies and a set of 44-40 but these are missing the expander die with its .427 size plug.

It appears that mostly rifle dies made it into New Zealand, especially 30-06, 270Win and 308Win. I have multiples of the first two to trade.

I'm interested in other Pistol calibes especially 44sp, 45Colt, and 33-20. With or without Tong handles.

I'm keen to find an expander die for 44-40 or even just the plug, but if I have to buy a full die set to get one I guess that's what I'll do.

NZ is a long way from the States and shipping really gets expensive. However in October, my wife and I are staying with friends in Oregon close to Vancouver, WA and then Tampa Florida. 5 days each. So I have two addresses that packages could be mailed to and can easily pay in advance via PayPal to anyone willing to sell and that we can agree prices.

If someone really wanted to trade for 30-06 or 270Win die sets without Tong Handles I could easily bring those with me and ship within the US.

Anyway, it's all a long shot but worth a try. If you have anything and are willing deal please PM me.

Many thks

J.

Sorry I can't help. Only have dies in 25 Remington Auto and 25/35 Winchester, and tools and dies in 218 Bee and 22/250.

John,

I don't know if you can buy(ship) on Ebay but there are a lot of dies there.

Most ebay sellers won't ship out of US. To be honest I'd sooner work with a Forum (trustworthy) member than someone totally unknown on eBay. Yes I've bought successfully from eBay in the past and no doubt will again, at least where they will ship to NZ. Much easier and more options shipping internal to the US..and of course I have time to make that happen. Anyway, thought I'd at least try here first. Thanks anyway, appreciate the responses.
