I have two molds that I’d like to cast some low to medium velocity loads with a plain base bullet and the other for full magnum loads with a gas check.

What Brinell hardness should I cast bullets for each style bullets ?

Thanks for your suggestions and help.

10 to 12 BHN for the gas check full loads.

Assuming the Low medium velocity loads are low 38 Special pressure 8 to 10 BHN is all you need.
