Want To Buy A Mold

Hello,

If anyone has a mold that drops a bullet that is close to .318 that they no longer have any use for, I would like to buy it. I prefer a GC flat nose mold, but would accept a plain base.I have an odd ball 8.15X46R rifle that slugs to be .318. I have come up with and old junker mold that I have re-worked to the point that will cast some-what of a bullet. but I need better.

I looked all over Midway and I can't find a mold by that number. Is it possible that you left off a number or someting.

hi dave ... ha, that wasn't the mold number, that was an internet code for that page at Midway.

you could select that line with your cursor and click on it ... or ...

 Doesn't the 8.15X46R use a stop ring bullet?

Hello Jeff,

Some are loaded with stop ring, and some are not ,I don't want the stop ring. My riffle is a little German, tip up stalking rifle which is probably the reason for the smaller bore diameter. To the best of my research, it was made somewhere in the 1930's.

Thanks for the info. on the mold, that will meet my needs. Yes I have trouble sleeping also. I didn't sleep at all last night and so far, I haven't been asleep this  day as of now.

Hello Ken,

I ordered the RCBS .321 GC mold that was in your notice. I had to back order, but they say it shouldn't be too long. I would have preferred to order from NOE, but they didn't have any molds similar to this.
