Why? It is pointless to remove threads that offer information for others who may face the same issue in the future. Unless you are referring to the auto generated "has your post been answered yet?" emails. A forum "feature" that I find objectionable and unproductive. Most forum posts are not questions that need to be answered. Those that are, asking the OP to choose the one right answer is rather ignorant. How often is the OP that doesn't know able to discern the one true and correct answer to his question? What does he base it on, post count, reputation, or what seems like the right answer? Any of the above could be wrong, and worse in the world of cast bullets, reloading, and gunsmithing wrong answers could result in death.
Removing threads after folks have given freely of their time to answer the question or give feedback on an idea is an insult to those that reply.
Sorry, not sorry Tom for hijacking your thread but honestly why would you remove a thread?
