reloading 32 Mag (HR and Fed) data with Lil' Gun

Looking for Lil Gun reloading data for both 32 Mag pistol cartridges - for BOTH pistol and rifle.  Cast bullets.

I would try the Hodgdon Load Data site. If the cartridge is not listed as one using this propellant, I would caution you from using it since it may not be the best choice or may be dangerous. You can always shoot handgun loads in a rifle too.

I know of no place that has cast bullet data for Lil'Gun. 

 

However, I have data from my Ruger SS 5 1/2" revolver shot in summer of 2002:

RCBS 98 grain SWC of WW's + 2% tin & sized .313"

10.5 grains Lil'Gun with WW SPM primer

AV 1209

ES 84

SD 30

Four inch group at 25 yards benchrest. Reshot load twice more that summer and never used it again in revolver ammo.

Have been shooting the rest of the pound in 22 Hornet, as it is the best for that use.

They use it a lot for jacketed bullets, just not any cast bullets.

I've pressure/velocity tested the 311316 (118 gr fully dressed) over 10 gr of Lil'Gun in Starline cases with WSP primer having an OAL of 1.362".

Psi was 23,900. Velocity out of my Ruger SS w/6 1/2" barrel was 1100 fps.

Under the 85 gr Hornady XTP, 11.9 gr or Lil'Gun (OAL at 1.322") the psi was 20,400 and the Ruger SS velocity was 1175 fps.

Under the Hornady 100 gr XTP 10 gr of Lil'Gun (OAL 1.322") the psi was 21,900 and the Ruger SS velocity was 1075 fps.
